Customer Requirements

The simplicity of the client’s requirement belied the complexity of what was needed to actually deliver a final result to the same high standard that we at Hibberts set ourselves for every single project. The complete redecoration of ALL external timber and stonework. In addition we were asked to carry out maintenance to the original cast iron guttering to this very large and hugely impressive Victorian home.

   Project Summary

The first stage in the project was to consult at length with the client to agree on a final colour scheme that was felt matched the original one and complemented the overall appearance of the property. Due to the sheer size of the property scaffolding had to be erected all around the property to ensure safe and easy access to all areas. This proved particularly successful when painting the beautifully ornate gallows brackets that support the soffit timber across the imposing front of the house. The choice of colour scheme proved to be a superb one and has meant that this impressive desirable residence has been returned to its original dignity and former glory.
